With two trusted industry insiders corroborating similar information, it's hard to believe that nothing is going on with Dead Island 2. Earlier this year, Tom Henderson claimed that Dambuster Studios is actively working on Dead Island 2 ahead of a potential Q4 2022 launch. In a Sacred Symbols podcast, Colin Moriarty revealed that a Dead Island 2 re-reveal could happen soon before a September or October release. Games that have been in development for a decade very rarely do well when they finally come out.
However, one insider claims to know that Dead Island 2 might come out later this year. Some fans don't think that the game is going to see the light of the day at all.
After being revealed in 2014, Dead Island 2 has switched hands several times over the years. Just like zombies, Dead Island 2 just can't seem to die.
